the city. There are 24 rooms, all uniquely furnished
and decorated to compliment the quiet and magical
atmosphere of this 400 year old building, once
home to a 16th century convent. The magnificent
view of Trevi fountain is clearly visible from
any of the front room windows or from the roof-top
terrace. The roof-top terrace is open day and
night, here we serve breakfast ( 7.00 - 10.00
a.m.).
The
Trevi fountain was built in 1734 by the architect
Salvi under commission of Pope Clement
XII celebrating the discovery of the
"acqua vergine" (virginal water)
water springs by some Roman soldiers. All
the story is represented in this sculpture
